So the first images of the suicide squad are out. Im in love with what Harley Quinn looks like in this, its a cool take on the New 52 suicide squad look. The whole squad has a interesting visual too it, Their are definately pros and cons but What do you guys think?

this looks like what i'd expect from a TV show, not a blockbuster movie =/
You know I've been trying since I saw these last night for a way to sum it up and I think you nailed it. Maybe I just don't follow DC enough but it just doesn't look terribly interesting. Also, my wife is pretty upset with the way Harley looks as it is her favorite character from DC aside from Batman.
It does all look a bit lo-fi, but maybe that's not such a bad thing. It'll make it distinct from the bombast of the other superhero movies. I don't hold much hope for it not being dour and angsty, but with so many weird characters, maybe they'll manage to keep a little personality and humour in there.

Doh. I thought I'd read King Shark somewhere else, but I was misreading someone's whiny comment. It's a pretty impressive makeup, whoever he is.
Oh, I get it. She must be damaged.
Designs look pretty cool? Seems strange to release something like this with zero context to people not "in the know" as to why this is special.

also for anyone interested joker is going to have a bit more muscle, similar to some other comics.

And the official look for joker: it's gotten some hate lol but i dont mind the look, looks cool. I think they're going for a more comic feel.

But who knows maybe his performance will do well, everyone was cynical about heath ledger and he turned out great.
I suspect a better trailer that doesn't go out of its way to sponge all of the energy out of what's on the screen might go some way to making it look a little less bland.
But isn't the Joker from the Suicide Squad covered in almost the exact same tattoos?
Still I'm excited that David Ayer is writing and directing this.
I personally would rather see either no tattoos or scarred versions/mutilations/acid/etc.
I honestly thought it was supposed to be one of the Joker's posse gang member wannabe's versus the Joker himself.
Other than that looks interesting enough, I totally didn't realize that was Will Smith until the 5th time watching it

I think that's kinda the point... There are a lot of hints that point to him not being the original joker, but to being Jason Todd.
We finally know who Jim Parrack is playing in Suicide Squad. The actor will be Jonny Frost, one of Joker’s henchman who was created for the 2008 graphic novel “Joker”, written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Lee Bermejo. The Wrap reporter Jeff Sneider reported this news on his “Meet The Press” podcast back in April, but now we have confirmation.
Actress Corina Calderon, who has a small role in Suicide Squad, confirmed the news in an Instagram post earlier today. “All #HappyCamper on my way to set again, going earlier than my #CallTime just to be there and watch my boy Jim Parrack playing #JonnyFrost do his Thang #SuicideSquad”, she wrote.
Parrack can be seen briefly in the Suicide Squad trailer leading Jared Leto’s Joker down a hallway. Seems like a very Jonny Frost thing to do!
It’s no secret that Jared Leto is into his role as the Joker. You could tell the minute he walked onto the screen in the Suicide Squad trailer. Or by the stories from his castmates. Some haven’t seen him out of character since they started working on the movie. And who could forget about the rat that he sent poor Margot Robbie. But Leto loves the Joker so much that he’s put him on his iPhone as well.

Jared Leto’s Joker in Suicide Squad continues to be a mystery… but from the set photos and trailer, it appears that he’ll have a bigger role in the movie than we initially thought.
Last night Jared Leto shared a video on Instagram and photo on Twitter of his shadow and while the hat stood out at me, I didn’t really think anything of it. Until I saw Comicbook.com’s write up of it this morning. Then it got me thinking…

he hat and outfit definitely resembles the Joker from The Killing Joke, but this isn’t the first time Leto has teased something from that popular graphic novel. If you recall, we also got this photo of Leto back in April.
Something tells me this is the happiest we’ll see Killer Croc, but it’s a pretty funny photo and shows how well his emotions come through even with all that makeup and prosthetics on.
