I think the whole zombie thing has gotten so old, that even saying it's old has gotten old. That aside this does have some pretty lovely pixel work judging from what the video shows. Could be interesting..
Looking good! If you pipe the white noise through a levels node, and make it so that its mostly white(ish) and that there are some blackish, and dark grey pixels, it will get that nice shimmer you see when sunlight hits the sand. Cheers!
I agree with StrangeFate... sometimes I've wanted to do circular designs on textures, and if the UV co-ords are stretched at all, it means I have to stretch all the designs, which is no fun to paint... and you end up with non-square pixels.
wow thats super cool. would it be hard to do the same thing with a proxy mesh? like say i make a character model, can i generate a voxel volume from it? might be neat for 3d pixel art looking stuff.
[ QUOTE ] Low poly is love [/ QUOTE ] and mixed with a bit of bill pixel textures with viewport grabs, you can't go wrong! Love heroes, recognised them instantly. If you ever go to texture, please make alternative future versions!!
As the topic said i want to learn shading, color theory, highlighting but i really dont know what and where to start . Im trying to do pixel art for my mobile game. theres a recent work of mine; Have a good day
Here's the USCF sketchbook. I'm a generalist, but I do a lot of concept art, UI design, pixel art, etc. I welcome all feedback and criticism about my work. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment, I'll post more soon.
Yea I can see what you mean, I think if I'd made the metal more rusty it would look properly independent, right now its too neutral of a colour. Thanks for pointing that out Pixel.
I think you could auto generate the opacity map like: float3 NormalABS = abs(NormalMap); float opacity = (NormalABS.x + NormalABS.y) * SomeOpacityValue; This would make the opacity map showing the non flat pixels of the normal map.
hey again :) can someone tell me why on side of my courir is brighter then the other? (normal map = all black) and when i add an normal map its shit quality? (pixels everywhere) normal map:
