Another idea might be to render with Maya Hardware. This should produce the same kind of quality you have in the viewport. If I'm not mistaking Maya Hardware is probably more "realtime true", displaying what could also be achievable in a game.

Hey Maya users, Im having an issue which i cant figure out how to solve, somehow my multi cut tool isn't working correctly, it no longer snaps to vertices, I can tell when the behavior changes when the first point is orange. Has anyone experienced this? Know of any fixes?
