Maya Rig Simple Question

Hey Guys,
I have a basic Question. I have a head Model in Maya and I textured it (Skin Displacement and other Displacements).

Now if I rig my head and make my model Smile, what is going to happen to the applied Displacements? Are they going to "stretch" with my model or are they staying at their place? I hope the Displacements and textures go with the rigging and dont stay on their original position.

    Hi!

    I haven't worked much with displacements, but assuming it's UV mapped, it should stretch with your mesh like a regular color texture would.  With a UV map, a polygon always references the same section of the texture, regardless of deformations.
