if these are supposed to be high polys then they wont bake proper normal maps. They arent sub-divided so you wont get much (if any) noticeable detail and edges in the normal maps. If its just "low poly" and you plan to texture directly on it then good luck with unwrapping it :P -

Skewed normals are going to show up if you arent using a synced work flow. If it was sync'd, that wouldn't be an issue at all. Either you'll need to learn how to use a synced workflow, or how to control the vertex normals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciXTyOOnBZQ -

@ beefaroni I agree. I dont know a lot about archetecture, but when dealing with a large scale building such as this, K.I.S.S. ! Keep it simple stupid Work with larger shapes, details arent as important when your surroundings are :) Looks great so far though ! -

hm...i believe that about the artists leaving theres some misunderstanding.( sa7an , correct me if i am wrong) , but i think that most of the artists that started to work for nuclear dawn arent there anymore, like retro shinobi , the concept artist, obfuscate, etc. -

I have an Alienware machine at work and it ships with these skins on it (older versions, but you get the idea) and they arent that bad in practice. I left them on for about a week, before stripping it all away. Im one of those "no theme, no desktop picture" kinda guys. -

thanks for your replies i know about the mitten problem, but at the same time who would want to expose their fingers in say -20 degrees celsius. The subtle shadows are in the ambient occlussion map. They arent all too visible with such a low ambient light though :/ -

DJ Game?
Is anyone coming out with a game emulating a DJ? Like Guitar Heroes, it would comes with a toyish mixing platter. It's interface you see on the screen the crowd with your GUI incorporated, and how well you mix the samples and follow the beats per second, the crowd responds? Definetly try to avoid a lot of thin polygons. Most of them arent even very visible. About that wrap, try to do one continuous piece instead of multiple rows of polygons. Low poly models dont have to follow the flow of the high poly. Hope this makes sense. -
Re: Tilebale Textures and the Tilde Key in zBrush
Are you making sure you're "Edit" mode is turned off? And that you arent in any translation modes (move/rotate/scale), you have to have to be in Draw mode (Q) and then you can hold the ~ tilde key and left click drag to move the canvas. Should work fine.
