We’re a group of talented artists, developers, character riggers, 3D modelers, in-house customer service agents, and gamers and nerds of all stripes. When we’re not brainstorming and creating new platforms, we’re a bunch of friends who enjoy sharing the latest developments in geek culture, exploring new technologies, and sharing our creative endeavors!

Concept Art Outsource Manager Job Description:
Sky Castle Studios is currently seeking a Concept Art Outsource Manager with 4+ years of professional concept art experience, including 1-2 years leadership experience in a production setting. This position is a Mid to Senior-level experience position. In this role you will:
- Kick off concept art projects for future content releases, including concepting releases and developing content with vendors.
- Manage a team of external artists to conceptualize and design new assets for the Hero Forge® character builder.
- Develop artistic guides to ensure a consistent artistic vision and direct Hero Forge’s® artistic standards and style for the future.
Concept Art Outsource Manager Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience using Photoshop Software (or equivalent) in a work setting.
- 4+ years professional experience in concept art with a focus on characters and props.
- This is not an entry level position.
- 1-2 years professional experience managing a team in a production setting, such as video game development or comparable experience.
- The ability to deliver feedback to internal and external team members in a timely and constructive manner, including draw-overs.
Concept Art Outsource Manager Preferred Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple workflows, and flexible to evolving priorities.
- Experience creating thematically tight concept art collections.
- Excellent attention to detail, sense of form, proportion, and composition.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in a remote work setting.
