Try adding some harder edges into your character armor. Some of the pieces just seem very soft like they are made of mud. I love your work though, I hope you post more. Keep it up.
To me it seems as if the shoulders/shoulder armor is way to big. It appears as if his shoulder joints are 2.5 head lengths away from his head. I think really the head is just too small for the upper body and size of the legs.
Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to keep checking in. Here's a small update after blocking in some armor and tacking on a bionic arm I whipped together which will serve to hold up the weapon I have planned. Updated Gallery
This reeks of 1997 ERR I MEAN this looks like Krush Kill n' Destroy, in FPS form, with depth, and is not some boring soul patch guys in huge marine armor suits shooting at some alien or punk. I like it!
Add some weaponry and armor stands to it, that'd be cool. Maybe a few siege weapons, even. Totally up to you and whoever else feels like contributing ideas, but I always liked the styles of military equipment from that time.
All top notch dude, finish the sci fi chick and the armored dude, cuz so far they are rockin the casbah! I agree with the warrior woman's calves, it would've been nice to see some more defined muscles in the legs.
I always thought Blizzard did a fantastic job with the tier 2 armor sets in WoW especially Judgement. I thought it would be cool to re-create it with PBR and a higher poly count. A dwarf was of course the natural choice to don the legendary set. I hope I did it justice. Total tri count: 80k…
Ok guys this a character i have been working on my free time, reworked his anatomy a couple of times, im more or less happy now and will get on with prototyping and concepting his costume/armor pieces. excuse the concept image its very rough, just trying some ideas out
hi, im making this heavy tank man, ill pimp him out once i get the basic armor down (and folds in cloting and somthing seems off to me about his face). Please do comment, any and all help is very appreciated :) (his pants are obviously not touched yet -_-, just wanted him to be decent ;) )
Here is progress on knight model I am doing! For now I've finished the base form and quick sketch of the basic shape of the armor in Dynamesh. I am still considering slimming him down a bit instead of WoW style oversized shoulderpads and arms. Please leave a feedback if you like :) Have a nice day!
