ffffffarrk, Just lost a big post by accidentally closing the tab. Here we go again... This is looking really close to the finish line! The only crits I have now are small tweaks and you can pretty much take them or leave them. 1. The graphical design of the Badgers Road sign looks dated, and maybe a bit half hearted. In…
Is the site easy to use/flow from art to art? I think the thumbnails seem a bit too large, at least on my tiny laptop. Would be nice to be able to see them all at once without having to scroll down. Is there anything I should scrap altogether? Hmmm, the lemon logo and the white background, sort of reminds me of dairy…
Hello, it would be amazing if I could get some help with rendering interiors in Marmoset. The problem is that I get these light leaks coming through the mesh. It seems to happen whenever I attempt an interior scene. I would like the scene to be lit by HDRI light coming through a window. The image below is just a test to…
So, I'm working on my project and have it almost complete. I add an emissive channel and make a new layer, when I go to activate the emissive in the material section it does not open up a color selection, the material preview is not lit up, and it has a constant x across it. I've used emissive before with no problems but…
Cool subject matter, decent assets, but I think the thing for me is the lighting is a bit too by-the-numbers, Emissive on neon is cranked to the point of "hey lookie what I know how to do in Unreal" Bling!!!! Not to say you can't have bright neon in the scene, but it should still be legible and given context/visual…
@Arkhas Much improvement to your grass texture :) @ Animesh Just an observation but your spec color is taking on the color of your diffuse texture, a dielectric material. I could be wrong so double check, if your asset right now is being lit by a neutral light then your secular highlights should be neutral but they are the…
Very nice detail work! The first thing that jumped out at me was that your scene is very brightly lit, even compared to the reference image (maybe tone the bloom down a bit?). Your textures are very clean, try breaking them up with a little wear and tear :) I'm sorry no one was able to answer your question about lighting,…
Hey Mistry, Very well done, the ideas and execution are great modeling and texturing wise.It shows a lot of work got put into this. If you still have time, I would double check is that your main light source fits with the sun's position, something with the shadow makes me think the lighting comes from the right and not the…
wow looking badass already. I wonder if you can remove the line in front the throne, to frame it instead of overlapping in front of it, that would help to enhance it a bit more. I think there is something to do with the light to push the focus on the throne, right now my focus goes under the throne, on that spot framed by…
For the photon mapping you need to enable the "merge nearby photons" to create smooth transitions between them. You would also need more of them to get a better lit scene because of the merging your GI will averaged a bit and you could loose detail in extreme areas. And why are you using "hair planes" and no real hairs?…
