Personal project of a stylized man, based on the great concept of Chao Teng Zhao. High poly in Zbrush, Retopology and uv´s in Maya, texturing in Substance Painter and Render in Arnold. Composition and color correction in Photoshop.
I've been working on a Overwatch character idea for a portfolio project. I thought it would make a good project to learn stylized character art. Any feedback on it’s design and abilities would be appreciated.
Still trying to get better at zbrush. Thinking of printing this out in miniature or making it full sized out of foam and printing out some of the details. This will probably be a hand painted pbr piece to keep the piece stylized.
Hi guys, i have finished modeling of dis guy, dis is inspired by various concept art work i wanted to go wid Stylized verson of charecter. Critics n cmments r most welcome.:)
Hello ! this is my first post :) ! I want to make something with this feeling more or less: I will try something very stylized with hand painted textures, meanwhile this is my first starting wip:
What about the Settlers stuff you posted? Would you count that as old school or is it the kinda new Blizzard/Riot style of sculpting & baking stylized stuff?
Sketch for Robb Pickering while I sat in on their class today. Just a daily sculpt. I was trying to make something stylized in a different way than usual.
Here's an update. Added the ropes and cloth work. Next up will be a stylized sculpt pass in Zbrush before I bake this down. I'm still looking for critique! :)
I'm confused about the stylization here. The head looks smooth and cartoonish, very reminicent of The Iron Giant. The rest of the assets are far more detailed and real looking.
