Hey, thanks for the kind words guys. This project is definitely not dead, I just felt like the design I was going for with Sarevok was not really good, didn't really stand out and went back to square one. So I'm just cleaning my head with a quick character bust and am gonna come back to Sarevok with a fresh eye later. -

i got the mx1000 for home, and i woud love this mouse, if not for the size, its like navigating your desktop with a severed midgets head. the most anoyin part is that the scroll wheel is up on a heal that its hard t press it without pressing one of the useless buttons that is right next to it. i think i'll go back to the… -

Good model. Good skin. They just don't go together. As poopinmymouth said he looks like someone wearing a zombie suit. Zombies tend to have open wounds, missing parts of (for example) their leg. Chunks of their head missing, etc. Also, his expression isn't scary/dead enough to be a zombie. Good job on the hipbones :P -

If you want to learn game art...find a school that has a great Fine Arts course. Take a few. Or read some books, learn how to sketch, and paint. If you become adept at using colors other than brown and black...you're well on your way. Don't worry about finding a course on learning how to use a 3D application. All that info… -

The usual specular model makes surfaces tend to perfect reflection at shallow view angles - mainly because that is actually what happens in real life, you just don't see it much because its hard to put your head close enough to the ground to see it (also atmospherics etc).
