@Mask_salesman - Thanks for the Crit. I agree about MD for sure. It is the first time to use it (everyone at work has been talking about it). Not really feeling it, pretty unartistic IMO. But certainly makes fast work of a base mesh.
http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/joystiq/videos/e306/JoystiqE3_Spore.mov Orpheus posted this in #MD. it's the full demonstration of Spore before the Robin Williams bit along with a discussion with Williams about gaming and a brief bit with Will Wright. be warned though, the video is 420mb.
-Finished production on Glace. -Made the website. -talked way too much on #MD. -pimped Glace as much as humanly possable. -started up work on the nazi. -mistook a man for a woman.(damn you killing!!!) yeah thats about it.
Head shape is a tad funny, as I had to move it around to avoid clipping with the cap. Quick fool-around with MD. Going to begin detailing and puffing out the jacket now.
What is the best way to work with your custom avatar in MD? I am having trouble with the location points and setting volumes. Is there a way to do this without additional software? Thanks in advance Cheerio
Wow that's some impressive work! Did you use MD only for a base model and than adjusted it in Maya? A video of the process would be a great learning experience, for me atleast haha.
I was bored today so I made a little game. Rogue13 and the minions of TNSLB. basically, a stupid little bouncy blaster. the character sprites are stolen from crash, the background is stolen from the md page which was made by harl. the rest is mine. Download
+1 for Blender. Pablo Dobaro is doing great work on a sculpting branch that will become part of 2.80 master. The MD like toolset is and addon by the same dev as Hair Tool addon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWrz-87f-AE
