Hello! We are a brand-new team called Desperados (yes, we really are desperate). We are working on a new game mainly for fun and to gain experience together, with the goal of publishing it one day and creating many more games in the future. At the moment, we are looking for 3D artists (at least 2) to help us create assets…
2-3 weeks sounds good. If I remember properly, their turnaround time is approx 3 weeks. I like the analysis you've performed on the concept. For the fur sections you're worried about, I'd suggest leaning more towards solid form.

The Reach trailer was really great looking. A cut well above Halo 3. Really great work, Bungie crew - definitely looking forward to it. Although we didn't have much competition this year, Forza 3 got racing GotY! :D
Humans I usually have a good base to start from so that is under a day. From scratch... 3-5 days??? Monsters and stuff without a base I usually get pressured to hurry up if it goes past 3 days. Sucks.
As stated by the 2 above me. You have 3 options here. 1. Deal with it. 2. Add more edges across that shape to lessen (not remove) the effect of your distored UVs. 3. Unwrap the shape non linearly at the cost of UV space.
you will have to split your character and apply multiple textures in zbrush, it doesn't handle multiple textures per object. or you could put all 3 textures side by side and change your unwrap for all 3 using uvw xform
aaaand the final stuff * 3* Had to ruuuush it >_< ,, I'm going to take some time off and after christmas I'll look at it again and refine things and maybe get a proper pose lol but - I made it in time for my first contest :3
