Render out each pass as its own sequence of images. Then composite them together. Best thing would be to use After Effects or some other video compositor. If you don't have those, then you can use 3ds Max's material editor to do this, it's just a bit clunkier. In the Compact material editor, make a Composite map, and load… -

Well, you could also reduce the tri-count by a lot, 2248 seems really excessive. you could probably bring it down to like 500 with barely noticing a difference, (keeping in mind it will be in a game, not a super zoomed in screenshot of the silencer alone). -

MOV format is only available in 3ds Max 2012 - 32 bit. Max 2013 has a 64 bit plugin for MOV. I'm not sure what you mean by best settings. When I'm sending my reel out it will be in this format. 720p - MOV format - h264 compression - 2200 Kbps - 30 fps For most people a YouTube link will suffice. But other animators a will… -

We still use VRML because no one wants to make a new model viewer. In-house programs are made all the time though - just not by me. At the moment we're using VGeo, which supports VRML and a couple other weird/old formats. I've heard of someone making an Unreal Tournament mod that could sync up and do this but that's also… -
