I know no one gives a crap but if my memory serves correctly it has the same exact name of a failed 1998 3d card from Trident :) dunno if IBM cares about holding that trademark though, might be something worth mentioning internally though.
@JO420 Thanks for the kind comment! That was really my aim since the beginning. Low poly modeling has been completed. The Triangle count is 4918: Now I can move onto UV work while finishing the last details of the high poly engravements.
If these are for third person, 2048 is way too big and even 1024 is a stretch. Your polygon counts are also very high for third person. The diffuse textures seem a bit too... textured. The Thompson receiver looks like stone, and the 1911 looks like marble.
painter 3d! incredible news!! actually, memories! from ... like 1998? it was shit back then, no doubt it has eh... matured since. might as well try 4d paint for a flashback.
Its a Thompson 1928 m1a1 sub machine gun so let me know if anything stands out to be changed. I hope to get the low done today or tomorrow and then textured and finished by the end of the week.
I'm a traditional a traditional artist. I've been trying to get inside the game industry for a while but without success. Looking for some advice and directions. Somebody can help me? Hey everyone, dug up my 1911 blockout last week and finally finished the hi-poly for it, Low poly and texture are coming soon. This project was actually inspired by the folks whos working on "Escape from Tarkov" but with a vintage ww1 style A 28 rounds snail drum + suppressor because why not?
there's this thing.. called hyperbole. you fuckin' mastered that shit. and yes, I played lost odyssey. if you really feel it was that good, cheers. I feel it was 1998. I liked the premise, but they kinda dropped the ball in terms of the way I thought they could have used it.
