I've only been using a .max file to save my work. No FBX. The controls in the image are frozen, that is why they're white. I guess I can try Ghogiel approach for the long term solution. Vehicle Damage Mesh
I'm trying to get my onDeath Mesh in-game and I've been using, pretty much, copied Cicada code but I noticed that it doesn't have a main death mesh when it explodes, the normal mesh stays there and some extra gibs fly out. Normals seams on UV borders
I'm importing a skeletal mesh into the engine from Maya. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out where the seams are coming from. The old system used ISM (Instanced Static Mesh Components) but the new one just uses normal skeletal mesh components. There isn't another way of having birds with animations from the best of my knowledge. Here's a new update. They avoid buildings as you can now see. OK, tried that (and thanks for replying btw ), basically the same problem, with the default settings I get no shadows, when I untick composite shadow channels so its just dynamic I get shadows that make no sense. Like below, the light is in the middle of the room, yet there is somehow a shadow across the 2 skeletal meshes.…
