Hi, Thanks for reading my post. I have been working with zbrush for some time and have done a few characters for practice. I recently decided that I wanted to make a medieval knight type character and I am able to block out most of the armor pieces with the exception of one thing -- shoulder pauldrons. Now, to be clear, I…
Alright guys, here we go! Below is our job spiel. We've signed a great contract, and it's helping us grow as a company. New building is coming soon hopefully. Second team starting up too. Lots of good things. Still have jr. and regular positions open too. We currently have openings for a Lead Artist and several Senior…
There's a little environment stuff, but I've not read that yet. There is some hard surfacing stuff using masking and projection master, and although the first tutorial is a floating head, it deals with masking and subtools and the various brushes, so you see what the inflate brush does etc. There's an entire chapter on…
I keep hearing malarky on tangent space, world space, (outer space) normal maps but I've not quite wrapped my head around their specifics. Does anyone have some insight in to this malarky? Or some literature on the net somewhere that I could read? I'm wondering about their definitions and pros/cons for each method. Thanks!…
I'm just done learning Zbrush and my friend tell me that a new app is out and it is apparently better than Zbrush. I've looked into it a bit but I don't feel ready to burn my head for another week. If anyone can fill me up on ''why is better'' or ''why is not''. I'd like to hear your tought about it.
It's a little bit harder to tell from the back, but from the front it looks like the head is a bit too big and gives the impression that he has no neck. It kind of looks like he's only around 6 heads tall with his head size. People are usually 7 to 7 1/2 heads tall with 8 being for a more heroic character. I'm guessing…
I figured out the issue since my SK mesh had two materials (one for the head, one for the body). The base mesh was using the correct body material for the body and head material for the head. However, the LOD01 meshes and plus was using the body material for the head and head material for the body. So if you click on each…
Okay I can see the head being too large.... um as for the legs, oddly enough was critiqued on them earlier when I first posted about checking by the heads height...and he is the perfect amount of heads tall proportion in the legs at least according to the head he has now. The latest image is after I did the proportion…
Those animations are cool, e_x! Thanks for the full body shot, Mit Gas, it's looking very good Personally I think the Terminator with the human head (no helmet), has a head which is quite a big too big... compare it with the size of the helmet, there's no way that helmet would fit over such a big head. Check out this…
Again, sorry to hear Jesse. Hopefully they will work something out with on your money spent. I've had friends in the past contract with them and no issues like this. But maybe things have changed over there. Just keep your head up. I'm sure something better will come up soon man.
