Buzz describes how to do that (including importing the skeleton) in PLE so I believe there has to be a way. Is there a PSK importer for Maya? The PSKs can be found on the last game disc (3 in 2003, 6 in 2004).
What version of 3ds Max are you using? There is an "Ink n Paint" material which ships with newer versions of Max (version 6 and upwards, I think), which will do cartoon shading pretty effectively.
i finally bought the game yesterday. only finished about 6-7 songs on Easy so far. very fun. still waiting on a game like this where i can plug an actual guitar into it.

From what I understand, the brain getting enough sleep alone is not enough. The body needs at least 6 hours of sleep too to repair itself. You'll look old really fast with that machine o_O;
I'm with arsh on this one. For counsels. I have no qualms switching discs. I just dislike it when PC games have 6 install discs. Which is why I usually buy games on DVD.

Daz I totally agree with that pet peeve. Playing Rainbow 6 Vegas there are some interior areas that suffer from that. Next gen textures don't look so hawt when all lighting is removed.
Although I am not sayin this to protect snow fly's work, I think alot of people stick too closely to vitruvian man-female presets as though the 6 billion people on this planet did as well.
