Beautiful looking game. The ubi-art framework looks amazing aswell, I hope they release it to the public at some point. There are too many games coming out next week though, This does have a well earned place on my christmas wishlist though. :)
I didn't mean to offend you Robert, I was just pointing out that it wouldn't work. I noticed it was in a wishlist, and I didn't want you wasting time and/or money on a computer as such. I didn't know you were just making a point. My mistake.
That looks fantastic, excellent job on capturing the Halo feel. I figured the Halo RTS would be cheaply done just to dip into the halo moneybags a bit more, but after seeing that video I'm going to have to add another game to my wishlist. Kudos to the Ensemble crew.
woah, nice find. that title just made it on my wishlist. a heartbeat later i ordered wind waker - feeding the gamecube is ico any good judged by todays standards? screenshots didn't look very promising and people complained about the battle system, so i never really investigated.
This is one of those titles that have been on people's pie in the sky wishlist for years and still there's people bitching. Fuck you internet. I'm excited to see what they've come up with. Never played an MMO though. Hope this is subscription free like GW (fat chance?) That logo is snazzy, very clever me likey.
awsome stuff Rick, i've added it to my christmas wishlist (and if i don't get it, heads will roll...) Per, i completely get where you're coming from in your post, but at the same time i know people who go to great lengths to get the lighting perfect and blaaah. i'll just keep working on it (the materials too)!
Create a metric crap-load of LOD models that were on the back burner forever.... Fix bugs... Re-texture that one thing that's ship-able, but has been been bugging you forever... Cram in as many wishlist things as possible before the cutoff. Oh yeah... and whatever you do, you try like hell not to add any NEW bugs to the…
Humanscale Freedom Task Chair. Accept no substitutes. I tried a coworkers years ago and it's been top of my wishlist ever since. I've sat in a few Herman Miller Aeron chairs and IMO they don't even come close (it could be because I'm a tall and relatively muscular person, but I've always found the herman miller offers…
I'm also currently shopping for a brand new PC and after a bit of thinking, searching and talking with people at work, I ended up with the following : http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=15496965 My budget was roughly 2k$ without monitor, keyboards, mouse or external drive, and I can say…
Sincerely, as a game developer I see alot of things that Maya could add because its very important to have these features (forgive me if there is, but i couldnt find). - choose zbuffer drawing order on each object (or other solution that could solve transparency problems) - high quality rendering supporting cosine power…
