oh yes the solution to my problem was to convert my highpoly to editable mesh then back to editiable poly. very strange indeed. and im not using a camera thats just a view port screen grab, default fov, which i think is 45 degrees.
Very nice project, looking forward to the finished piece! Great points from Mark, though I'd add that daub protruding beyond the beams isn't that uncommon depending on location. You'll see plenty of that in Alsace for example. Also this is pretty much a fantasy painting, imo, despite the name. Larger than life…
how would one calculate the angles of the servos without ik/fk anyway? (assuming you only input the position of the wrist of the robotic arm to the function moving the arm) id find it interesting if you could do your mocab device with only the use of acelerometers and gyros attached to teh limbs, with some sort of…
Another trick here is to realize these models were created mostly in quads, with edge-loop modeling tools. Then converted into triangles before export to the game, and edited further to improve the new triangle edges. One of a gazillion "blender extrude" search results:
The movie looks promising. The screens I've seen show too many guns. The raiders don't really look creepy enough. I love how intense the book got whenever they ran into other people. The dad knows the truth: Anyone they actually WANT to run into will be too smart to be found. The good guys are all hiding, like them. When…
It's been a while since I had to animate with Character Studio, but if I remember correctly, there is no way to stop the head and arms from counter-rotating / staying in their current rotation when twisting the spine? Similar for some other limbs/connections. Edit: Basically talking abou this:…
I'm having a problem where Blender won't render a changed scene (still pic). It just keeps rendering this persistent previous scene and I don't know if it's stored somewhere. Searching says it might have to do with Post Processing -> Compositing/Sequencer or Final Render -> Persistent Data. I've tried unchecking those…
I know, I'm just wondering if there's a way to adjust the cage without having to constantly redo these edits. By edits I mean grabbing individual verts and moving them around. I've already had to do this cage editing procedure with the chair and it was really annoying to get the cage looking good, just to have to edit the…
When you're in the 'quoted' area, the 'quote' will be highlighted. Just select it again, and it removes the quote formatting. I just realized it today, when I was trying to exit a quote box.... which is impossible, if you attempt to edit the quoted text, before you type your response :/
Haha, fly_soup, those are old school. and Now to come up with some of my own... EDIT: What tag do I use to hide my answers? I'd like to let others figure out on their own. EDIT2: Nevermind I figured it out it's the [ spoiler ] tag.
