It's fine I think I got enough consensus on Steam as work software distribution. Not great but cool how it has some persistent licenses still. @iam717 I think having offline versions are great generally, but it's way easier to duplicate and distribute. The most chill licensing design I've come across is your download pings…
This is great so far! Love the character. I think it would really help to hand this to a 3d modeler, and see what questions they ask about it. Creating a 3D game character from 2d concepts requires a lot of thought and effort, and hearing their questions will help you understand what's missing from your work, which they…
Just saw http://www.3dmotive.com/product-creating-terrain-with-udk but i cant spare the 15$ right now. Anyone know any remotely similar tutorials? Mainly on the whole lighting and rendering settings.
Hey guys, I've been lurking around on the 'Monthly Noob Challenge #x' and I like what I see. I love the idea of honing your skills with a challenge, but I have a little problem... I've yet to create an entire game ready scene and I have no idea how to go about it. From what I've seen, people first colour over their images…

A few people using Wix and other things like that... But to me, the portfolio sites that stand out the most, are the ones that have been…

I'm sure there is some simple way to do it, but I just keep missing that solution and it's very frustrating as it seemed like a quick texture to make. So how would you do…

I've been having problems rendering out a matinee camera. It's incredibly slow, slugging through at about 1 frame per 20 seconds even though in editor runs at about 20 fps with everything at Epic, and also the textures look blurry. I've activated "disable texture streaming" in create movie options to no avail.

I described what I'm looking for here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iwh52XrR7lUC3kQ6NUGDJLHGCkvlimRGRSq0WF1y-Ek/edit?usp=sharing I'm looking…
