Love it!, for giggles you should do the color variant of the yellow and blue, and a marvel vs capcom super stocky version that that color set up. You also might want to try a more well know pose with him in an attack pose, hunched over, elbows back, hands in fists and claws out.
Don't bother too much with metric size and map overview: CAPCOM had a bad habit at using arbitrary and inconsistent measurements. They hacked the values a lot in RE2-3 to make size match between maps and the actual rooms. Just take basic shapes and keep global coordinates consistent across rooms.
I picked it up last week and I have to say it's sucked me into its world and hasnt let me go yet, its very reminiscent of The Shadow of Colossus that way. Capcom is definitely on a roll! Artist - Kaos Studios Marcus Dublin PS: I cant wait for Lost Planet!
2D gameplay is awesome, it's all about precision. I'm a fan of Capcom and Guilty Gear, and since those pixel art styles seem to read extremely well on small screens (and since I do art for mobile games), I'll go with something similar. Hey aesir, mind posting shots of your game??

XSI, users. Capcom studio 4, CyberConnect2, whomever made that terrible dragon riders 3d cartoon, and a bunch more I am unaware of. I think I seen it in a Halo Reach making of somewhere but not entirely sure... So best modeling package for vidya games?...how come nobody mentioned Zbrush?.

The SF4 PC benchmark is available! http://file.4gamer.net/demo/StreetFighterIV_Benchmark.zip And the neat thing is that if you put the characters settings to low it switches to diffuse only. Very handpainted! Meaning it would probably looks like crap under other lighting conditions hehe. Interesting!
we used to have the Rastan machine when i was a kid. Last level sucked because no matter how many credits you had when you lose your lives game over, first level. ghey also i believe this game is included in the Capcom arcade collectiont hat just came out a few weeks ago
