I'm exporting a car from Max in FBX to Maya. Some parts of the car in Maya just become white with a Phong material, others are the normal gray. I can change the material and color and what not but ONLY the gray stuff gets affected. Exporting an OBJ from Max gives the error of UV's out of range and Maya refuses to import it…
So i'm just curious on if anybody knows how to do this. But I know that you can sculpt in zbrush then make bump maps from that and use it. But can you do the opposite and create a bump map in different program, Import that bump map in to zbrush then apply its properties to the actual mesh. Is this doable?

I have these glasses traced with nurbs curves, and was wondering if there was any way of making it solid. I think i know a way which involves just using the curves as guides, but is there an easier way? Using 3ds max 7
