Hey all! I'm looking for some honest feedback on a likeness sculpt I'm currently working on. I'm wanting to create a 3D art piece of Anakin Skywalker from Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, so I'm trying my best to create a likeness of Hayden Christensen from 2005.I'm unsure what else to modify/fix before moving onto the…
So what's your preference? I've focused more on organic models than ever hard surfaced ones, so I'm having some issues finding out what is the best way to go about it. I've found that sculpting doesn't seem to do it for me, and I'm going to be trying modeling it entirely rather than trying to sculpt it. But that might also…
Hey everyone! I've been trying to do a likeness sculpt of Jon Bernthal and this is my progress so far but, feel stuck with the sculpt and need some critiques, tips, or an extra set of eyes to help me get unstuck with the sculpt and move forward with it. So help is appreciated!
I think you could be working on features in isolation, rather than holistically. And this makes things much more difficult. Similar to trying to sculpt in high-res without refining low, and increasing gradually. I would suggest starting with a low mesh, and complete all the loops, before adding complexity.
Which do you prefer, sculpting low res meshes or retopolgizing high poly sculpts? I'm trying my hand at sculpting for the first time and I'm wondering which is easier for getting good results? Or should I say, which is easier for someone new to it?
