Just noticed that a majority of workshop entries are dishonestly posting rendered and tweaked images that look nothing like their in game items. That is just sad. I wish their was a button that says illustrated objects don't reflect the in game items.
It's been broken forever. The workaround is to have a running game in the background. Just start up a local bot match and let it keep running while you return to the main menu from the top left corner button.
Go into Brush/ Auto Masking and activate BackFaceMask. This has to be done for all the brushes you want to use, even the smooth brush. I usually have this button on my UI so I can quickly toggle it on and off.
Would love to test my new items with this new camera feature, if just my client didn't crashed every time I hit the "preview in-game" button. Really don't know what to do anymore, this is so frustrating.
Guys a little doubt I have: in game, when you press that button that change the camera angle and bring it close to a character to be able to see it better, when that's used weapon/items model switch from LOD1 to LOD0 or stays LOD1?
Okay so I just verified my game cache and it checked out fine. Let me show y'all what is happening. @kendisan On the right side of importer viewport you have a button that allows you to select other wearables that you compiled before or those from other existing sets. There is no way to upload multiple items at once. You need to upload each part one by one.
@CELTHS LInk to that you posted to steam community page dont work for me :( @JOHNNYNAPALMSC after you will upload every item with editor you can select other items of existing sets or those you importer before with presing "Select Werables" button on the right side.

The game is in beta you can't buy it yet - unless there's some hidden purchase button. Pulling up DOTA2 on Steam only has the option to put your name onto a beta sign up list. The DOTA fanbase community can be horrible people, don't let that leak into here.
