rope was easy. just make sure the UVs are linear, and then take the line tool, draw a diagonal line, use the Nvidia normal map plugin on the line, and then copy the line multiple times, while placing them side by side.
i have a normal line which i need to straighten out.. im having trouble finding the correct tools for it though, since im not that experienced with cs5. heres a picture of the line i need to straighten out.
When you use a normal map in code those 'few lines' reference multiple functions that can add up to total hundreds of lines in length. Those 'few lines' you're referring to arent really a few lines, believe me...
Good afternoon, I just started working with Marmoset and I'm already having problems. It throws an error when loading the model, so the model is not baked. Help me pleas. The error itself: CPR Error (cpr::`anonymous-namespace'::catchSamplerBindingException line 635): drawing with an unbound sampler ("tDepth") at index 0…
Hey! I'm trying to find a Line / Vector tool someone made here on Polycount. I can't find it. It was basically an application for easy clean-up of lines. It was posted just a couple of months back. Any help is appreciated :) Thanks
Just a question on syntax for all the MEL experts here, how do you do this properly (first line is correct, i have to declare two strings to be the same value on second line) if (`checkBox -q -v randScale` == 0) $getScaleMin, $getScaleMax = 1; Obviously second line currently fails, just don't know how to do it properly.
Is there an option in max (2017) to specify a location before creating the object (line) ? eg I would like to create a line with a z-offset of 10. so i can see my line above other objects in the top view. Usually a transparent plane in combination with autogrid works but that is cumbersome, hiding and unhiding to select…
Hi I am wondering how to do to readjoust straight lines after having mde a retopology of a model , now I am fairly new and I tried the topogun beta but the first attempt altough I coudl follow the shape of my model , some linees and vertices aren't aligned on straight lines that the model has , I mean it's all a bit…
Hey, After bake in Substance 3D Painter there appeared those weird lines and I have no idea how can I get rig of that. Do you have any idea why does it happen? Bake, highpoly and lowpoly:
I'd suggest showing off the wires differently. Right now it's a warbly mess of lines. Perhaps a flat diffuse only with black lines, or a cay render with black lines?
