Solid first attempt at a walk. It's always cool seeing people jump into animating their characters. it feels like such a shame to make all these amazing characters but then never make them move and give them life. Really love your shape choices ect!

Some of the photos of my progress. I have added more detail and fixed some of the shape and dimensions issues. I am still working on the rope on top of the sheath, but I am about to sculpt some wood and metal details in ZBrush. I will probably keep it fairly simple and focus on just the big shapes and details, such as the…
Is it possible to take the mesh on the right and transfer it to the mesh on the left as a shape key? Whenever I try to do so with this method below it fails. Giving me the error "skipping the mesh, vertex count differs" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7PNbMASU9o&t=28s&ab_channel=HarqoGames

@Esselle with "use appropriate shader for artstyle" I just meant, thinking about the presentation, how it's rendered and lit. Depending on the shader used, different texture maps are required. On sketchfab for example, one has the choice between specular and metalness workflow. With either workflow the emissive slot could…

Be in GLSL shading mode. This allows you to use the shader properties to get your shading information. So, you can set up lights how…
This is just an idea I had, maybe it has been tried already. I was just curious about max keyboard setups and if anyone wanted to share their own setup. Wondering what is most efficient for all of you. I myself just use the old max4Dark UI, nothing fancy. Looking for something that might help speed up my workflow.
