Creating semi transparent body parts?
I had this idea to make the large eye shaped parts of my creature be semi transparent like a Spook Fish, but I was wondering how I would go about getting this effect in a game res PBR pipeline. Would it be best to sculpt what the inside of the shape would look like and keep the outside 'casing' of it as a separate piece… -

Any plans for adding calibration pre-sets for Octane render? Growing number of users and i have seen on Octane forums quite a few are using DDO but sonme have problems getting the same look as in 3DO. Re: How is Env. art and 3D modeling in general, different in animation pipeline than that of in games?
PBR is still applicable, but with offline renderer, so material format will be specific to their renderer. Ask about their pipeline... What renderer you'd be expected to use, what material pipeline. Offline renderers pay more attention to transmission and reflectance properties than games do. No baking nor lightmaps.…
