So - I'm picking up 3d work after not doing it for like four or five years and I'm curious to know if the conventional wisdom for UV arrangement is still the same as it was when I first learned to do it. My habit is to try to minimize the number of seams, and to try to place them in natural breaks in materials and in…
Welcome to troubled world of Substance Designer . A soft that is never going to be user friendly or just convenient. "Convenient soft" is an oxymoron in the world of CG, like dry water. As for the points not lying exactly on the spline, that might just be due to geometry. Your bones are…
I did a quick test and opened a Canon Raw (cr2) file in Krita, it was opened as a 16bit integer, and saved it as exr. Opening the exr in Krita and changing exposure on both images showed the same result, clipping at the same points. The exr was created as a float, though converting it back to integer didn't make any…
So taking a sugestion from my mentor, I tried varying the hues, I quickly changed the dark scales and the dark horns from brown to pale blue, to try to add some contrast, I also added another orange hue here and there. I also upped the gloss o the horns and dark scales again, since it they were getting to dry.…
