Actually expect the price to rise. They've made it pretty clear that they intend for modo to be a full pipeline app eventually. Brad even mentioned raising the buy-in price in the last modcast. Once the app fills out more I would expect to see a more significant price jump for new users.
Thanks! We have a very specific art guide for environments that is intended to replicate the look of SNES-era sprite sheets. So that grass for example is based off of how grass tiled in Secret of Mana. Some of the retro nods are more obvious than others :) And if you can believe it, it's all Java!
I don't really have any crits, other than to say that 3708 polys seems a bit high for a weapon intended for a 3rd person game. Also, I've never heard of this gun... it looks like the bastard child of an M3 grease gun and a Thompson (not necessarily a bad thing... I like it).
I am using Marmoset Toolbag 3.08 and as can be seen in this image some screws look as intended (top left) and some are wrong (bottom right) The normals are all good, and all screws are a decal that uses single screw normal map so they should appear the same, but only some do are. Any help would be appreciated
I'm sure the EULA of some games may frown upon this, but has anyone here ever pulled models from a game? I don't intend to actually use them for anything, I would just like to be able to take a model from in game and open in 3D Studio so that I can look at the texture and geo to see how they went about creating it.
