Setting the max frontal distance and max rear distance to 0.01-.02 in the baking menu will clear up most of the artifacts, except where rings are almost touching.
Hi, I'm looking to implement grapple-hook or a ring swing in my current project and wondered if anyone knew of any tutorials etc? I've searched everywhere (even on subscribed training websites) and found little to nothing. Cheers
Did you use any guides or density polypaint for that creature retopology? It definitely looks awesome and I am quite surprised you didn't get any spirals on the "rings".
are you looking for something that can can skip every other edge when selecting a loop or a ring? With edges you can do that for sure in maya, but not sure about faces.
Agree with Stinger, If you need to make it look like its folded over, just mask off a ring of polys and move the sleeve part up and out to give that effect.
Okay... little embarrassed, but has anyone nerded out to this? [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-Picture-Trilogy-Extended/dp/B0026L7H20[/ame] I totally want! :poly124:
This rings like a sound advice. Thanks CheeseonToast. I'll try that. Pb with Morph target usually is that I need to remember NOT to re-dynamesh. Or vertices count changes and the morph is gone.
