Opening .DXF files in Maya?
Hi, I need to open some CAD files (.DXF) in Maya. I have been reading that this functionality is built in and provided through "ATFPlugin.mll" in the Plugin Manager. I have ATFPlugin.mll enabled. When I import a .DXF Maya waits for a minute and looks like it's importing but then nothing happens, no items are even visible… -

Anyone have advice for the best way to do this? I was thinking either just a simple plane with alpha, or 3 flame meshes large to small inside each other with opacity ( to make the blue, red, yellow shapes of a flame).
