Crate - Env. Prop
Taking a break from the mill, getting a bit lost in the details, need to step back and pick it up later. So I'm working on this crate in the meantime. It's 1228 tris, it sounds like too much for a crate but perhaps I'm wrong. highpoly gamemesh Anywhere I could improve before I start uving and baking? -
Using someone else's work...
I was wondering if there was any legal problems with taking someone's concept art like Dylan Cole or Feng Zhu and modeling it and putting it in my portfolio? I'm not planning on making any money off it. -

Blood Elf Stylized
Hello there! 3D fanart based on an awesome study of John Polidora aka Norsechowder. For this one I tried something out of my comfort zone, focusing more on hand-painted textures with a little PBR. High poly done in Zbrush, low poly in Maya, bake and textures were done in Substance Painter, the realtime render in Marmoset. -

Using someone else's shader
So say you download a shader someone made from a place like highend 3d, and on there they have "license type: Freeware." Can that be used in professional work? Are you required to say "shader created by so and so"? thanks
