the flash/html5 thing is all in Photoshop. Panels can't use flash anymore. You can't install a plugin, jthey just wont work in 2014. You can use them in CC, just not CC2014. Photoshop: dark grey + dark grey = light grey?

tristamus, you can use the Photoshop Actions to create a small saving script for each map (or one Action to save them all out depending on how you want to do it). Re: Exporting 8-bit alphas from Photoshop
What's your issue? The alpha is 8 bit if you're working with a 32bit image. Ie if your bit depth in photoshop is set to 8 bit per pixel then your alpha channels are 8 bit. The red displays as a mask in photoshop for visual convenience. nothing more. Just export it as a tga or tiff and check 32bit when you get the option… -
