for 3d work from experience i find nvidia just works better for me. i got a gtx 660 in one comp and a 670 in the other and they both work great. i mostly use maya, udk, photoshop, zbrush and xnormal and it works great for all of thise expecialy haveing access to cuda for xnormal ao bakes -

Oh yeah forgot to put that in, my model has 616 polys. Processor is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz 4 GB DDR2 Memory I have also been using the same UV-Unwrapping technique on my last model with 333 polygons and have not experienced any problems at all. -

Maya 2014 crashing after 2~3 days install
