Time to start a new model! 1973 Economy Power King. I am aiming to be much more efficient with this model though I know I will definitely hit some snags/issues along the way. Need to gather some more reference so I can begin modeling :D .
I have been practising 3D for a little bit now (I had a good amount of experience in 2D animation before it) but being self-taught I don't really have many sources of feedback. Hopefully this is the right place for me :) Here is an ordered list, oldest to newest: MP40 AR15 1911 Doom Double Barrel
the helmet doesnt give that M1 indentifiable look it has,it is an m1 isnt it? i think its something in the back which is throwing the look off also a 1911 colt holstered to his side might look groovy too
from wikipedia "To date, Watchmen remains the only graphic novel to win a Hugo Award, and is also the only graphic novel to appear on Time Magazine's 2005 list of "the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present."
I reckon it has to do with the Bolshevik revolution in 1918, when Tsar Nicholas, the last Tsar of Russia, and his family were executed (shot against a basement wall). This is funny- http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=16232899611139689117
I learned ctrl+b (to toggle bg color) or something like that after using Maya for 5 years. Very humbling. But yeah you just get in your workflow. I've used Phoshop since 1993 and I'm sure 70% of the things you can do in it I have no idea the shortcuts.
When decompiling the files myself for reference (instead of using the ones uploaded by valve) I can't find the files that are used in the tutorials I read and that are included in the pack from VALVE. For example for pudge. Valve includes the meat cleaver weapon as pudge_offhand_weapon.smd. When decompiling the pudge files…
starcraft scream? no, that scream predates starcraft by years. I think it's becoming a running gag in the sound design world, similar to the teapot in highpoly 3d, or the lensflare/dropshadow photoshop kungfu-ery. I know i heard it used in the old lucas arts games circa 1993-5 (like Dark Forces) a lot.
I'm doing this Makarov PM for the Northern Ireland: 1983 project, which is an Indie game using the UDK base. Could you give me some critique on this please. I think I modeled the grip wrong, but oh well. Sights are probably wrong as well. Here are the images:
I am trying to make a realistic render, how should I go about modeling a tea bag? I am mainly talking about the inside of the tea bag. https://www.google.co.il/search?q=TEA+BAG&espv=2&biw=1918&bih=951&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiRr6fqg6PNAhVGthQKHcPhDB8Q_AUIBigB#imgrc=9zyqRV2XG4YaaM:
