Hi guys, i'm having some troubles importing Zbrush displacement into vray maya displacement. The maps created in zbrush seem okay but when I'm in Maya i get weird resul only in certain parts of the mesh and the rest is well displaced. (like in the picture). I thought about splines in UE, but after reading your comment I won't even try that. Making a texture guide in Maya seems good to me, cause it has to be pretty similar to real life, thanks!
I have Maya 2016 and added your OBJ to my Maya, smoothing is fine ... nothing wrong .. I own MAYA Full, so not sure, may be a bug with Maya 2018, or something else going on..
