Wanted to try out doing some sculpting in zBrush and then baking the details to a lowpoly i have trouble exporting the textures from Substance to Marmoset Toolbag 3 This is how i want the Materials to look (Screen shot from Substance viewport) But no matter how i export them (Metal Roughness) or (SpecGloss) it doesn't turn…
@armagon Substance painter can bake the combined material channels and view port lighting to a single RGB texture. Just use the 2D view output from the list of converted maps in the output template tab. There should be a trial version of Substance Painter available on Adobe's site. 11/15 Addendum: Existing PBR textures,…
Hello, I am trying to create a skin for a game called Rust using Substance Painter. The game provides the base model and texture files that I have used to create my skin. It uses Unity, which from all the reading I've been doing is very important for trying to match up the tangent space. I have been having issues with the…

I was super happy to be awarded "Best Storytelling" and a shiny RTX 2080 for my troubles. My theme for the art car entry was based on the node graph in Substance Designer - how any one…

This turned out really good! I know you are working in Substance Designer. Can you talk about how you rendered this asset? Was it in Substance Designer or Painter or Marmoset 2 etc? If it was outside of Substance what were some of the things you noticed about exporting the textures? Was there any tweaking?
So something like Substance Materials or Substance Designer? I think Unity even has support for Substance materials so you don't even need to bake them. I don't think they're prefect but it's a decent place to start and hopefully the tools will evolve and allow more more flexibility.
I've been having alot of trouble with having Substance Designer 5 function. Everytime I try to start a new substance, it crashes. I've checked that both my CPU and GPU drivers are up to date, and even installed Windows updates and nothing. So, I'm abandoning on using Substance Designer.
