Awesome, man. Looks really cool. Bummer it didn't work out, seems like it would have been fun. lol... You realize this was made by a real game development studio, not a bunch of guys in a garage. That idea doesn't work on so many levels - it does deserve a few facepalms.
CosmosXXX Thanks dude i plan on putting it in UE4 so i can learn it. Tons to do before then tho =( beefaroni Ahh the headlights thing is a good idea. Ill give it a go for sure. and that hummer image has tons of ref for making the back a bit more interesting. Cheers!
I enjoyed it, I didn't feel it was too slow at all it hit pretty much the right tone. Angsty kids bothered me a bit but the rest were fine. Looking forward to this I hope they keep things moving slowly and let the infection the simmer in the background.
So how does it work? he's realistically proportioned, the world is pretty realistic, but he can leap 10 meters in the air, and he can use his grappling hook to toss hummers using only a grappling hook? Is there a story that explains his super strength?
Suprore: that's my point too. I think Mike made it a little about himself. I think PA is better than that. It's also a bit of a bummer that the company responsible for the neat peripheral are having to do some major firefighting. Hopefully they make it through this. Lessons learned.
It looks like a mishmash of Bale and the Joker. I see where you're going for but it's not quite working. Summarized in one word, he looks too sharp. His lips have very straight edges, his chin is too pointy, and his nose is too narrow.
My friends call it the "brown filter." That's the word they use to summarize their disappointment in UT3: "brown." The game was cool, but did lack the colour and personality of previous UT games. I admire the engine and artwork, but it doesn't do much for the gameplay in the end. That said, new sandstorm is gorgeous.
In the course of a couple of weeks I'll be modeling and rigging my custom vehicle design. The idea was an all terrain hummer type of vehicle combined with a 50s-60s luxury car. A big influence also was OccultArt's Landwhale I wanted it to look rough and tough while maintaining the luxury feel. Design:
I'm asking $500 for it. Getting married next month and need some extra cash for the time being. Such a bummer, but it'll give me an excuse to spurge on the 64-bit version whenever that comes out. PM me for details. EDIT: I should note this is a windows license. EDIT: Found a buyer, thanks guys.
Yeah we stole it from the Klingons, so what? http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/health/cloaking.html Actually its not that kind of cloaking, YET but its still pretty cool. I'm sure it will come in really handy in the war on terror what with all the "terrorist" using micro waves to find the hummers driving up and down the road
