The renders above look like poser art, which is to say purchased assets put together to form an image. There is nothing wrong with that, but you have to be pretty good to pull it off. The difference in the quality of the figure and background makes the images jarring to look at. It looks like the model doesn't belong in…
Normally I don't really care about keyboards, my current one is just a basic 104 key one with nothing fancy on it and even though I'm a huge fan of hotkeys for everything, I was never really interested in the gaming keyboards that had a bunch of useful macro-able keys. However I just stumbled upon this! Razer Anansi…
Can you show an example of this? Cuz this is usually done by drawing into a render target that is centered on the player, and moves with him. So this kind of effects can only appear around the player.
Standout job :+1: a prime example that for me embodies both attention to detail and hard surface modeling finesse, also can't help myself ogling those bevels, too :)
Thank you Alex! I have done experiments with nanite and decided not to use this time for two reasons. The first one is that for thin geometry, in this case grass strands for example, the rendering gets very noisy as you get further away from the foliage. The rendered polygons get so thin that it can't be rendered well.…
@Noors, @zachagreg can you show me an example of this problem? A sample scene, video, steps how to get the same results with the default cut tool? @demigodss, thank you.
My understanding is that this is what's usually done. At the very least that's the default packing for Substance, and most example shaders i've seen use this scheme (although I mostly use UE4).
You mind posting or pming the code? For example: button -e -l "<-" -w 260 -h 32 -c "ToggleMergeToolbar"; You cannot edit a button when you are creating it.
Thank you, guys! I have some old articles with my terrible english on my homepage, for example: http://artleshiy.com/en/blog/workshop/making-of-grandfather-nurgle/
Looks pretty cool! Some of the loops does not seem to do a whole lot though, so you could probably optimize it a bit more. Like here on the hair for example:
