I meant real time shaders, there was a know problem with max 7 and i dont know if it carried on to 9. but anyway, i generated the normal map from scratch again but this time i straightened the uv borders of the patch, and in scanline renderer it works great. Then i import in roboblitz and i can see the patch seam again.… -

Worked on the diff & spec with suggestions for improvement from my professor. Think it looks better now but still not quite finished. I liked creating the symbols & font, like how the guns from District 9 are done. It kinda makes it more mine now. I hope if anyone from Leviathan sees this they aren't mad about me adding… -

Johny, Why are you saying they are too expensive when a good portion of them actually are for free? Have you tried downloading any of them? The image quality is better than anything else I can find for free and I think they are even better than most texture photos you can buy. I don't find 9 dollars a month too expensive… -

damn MoP you're a wee bit angry huh? anyway I'm using Firefox it just suits me the best. I love the tabbed windows instead of having everything open in a new window, the extensions are great and I like the themes. Additionally I dont get 8 or 9 pop ups every time I open a window like I do with IE. Firefox is just a better… -

I had problems exporting obj from max but my settings that work are : turn off normals and smoothing groups, leave on texture cooridinates and bump up the digits to 9. also make sure you export as a polymesh. works fine in zbrush. not sure about mudbox seems like they took the old habware obj exporter , from max 5 and…
