Looking for critique of my simple fire character i am making in class. Specifically I need advice on the texture but critique topology is appreciated. The character will be a enemy that could one day go into a unity project. model
Hey Pixel Junkies, We are looking for a jr character artist to come work on the Last of Us (perhaps you've heard of it)? This position would be contract for the full duration of the project and we are currently looking for Los Angeles locals (Make sure you can drive to Santa Monica every day). For a little bit more detail…
Update 6/22/12 What's up guys, I've been messing with this project on and off for awhile now, and have finally got it far enough along that I decided to start a WIP thread. Although I enjoy modeling hard surface stuff at work, I don't consider myself very strong at creating my own sci-fi designs. Because of that, I wanted…
Super quick update cos I was impatient (again) to try messing about with the gold 'seams' of this character. Threw some textures on and spent a while painting up the gold areas, it actually became kind of therapeutic. I suppose I should retopo the rest of the character now...
youre poses and characte's silhouettes do not vary that much... i think that what hes trying to say the samurai is your strongest character since its silhouette and pose are strong and the concept is unique the worker has a somewhat closed pose not so easy to read... the anatomy guys pose looks stiff and a bit off balance,…

I also agree about the wings, they are not doing anything for me either and I also do not like how they are just…

As someone who is also on this module at the moment I have seen the brief and many of the artists here haven't.…
Hey guys! I'm working on a new character. The concept was to try to tackle something I felt 3D is difficult with, which was baggy cloth. So I created this character and hopefully it'll be interesting for you guys to see how I progress, and maybe I'll get some crits along the way! Here we go, the drawn turntable: And the…
The other day I was thinking about female characters in games and I couldn't come up with a single female character in the late stages of pregnancy. I was curious if anyone had any examples of this. I did a quick search of polycount and couldn't find anyone who had attempted to make one either. I'm sure there isn't much…
So I'm trying to learn character sculpting in Zbrush. I have a lot of experience in 3D but only in environment (mainly vehicle, prop,...) I have done a few character sculpting project but only in a basic level. My knowledge about human anatomy is average. My goal is to become (or at least try to) an expert in character…
