Immersion. I guess lighting and other things you mentioned fall in there, but basically anything that makes you feel less like you're playing a game and more like you live in ___'s universe. Bioshock, oblivion, san andreas and half life 2 did it the best for me, they might not have had the best lighting or the best… -
