I wont say who it is meant to be, so hopefully someone on here can guess who it is. If its not immediately obvious ill spill the beans, and hopefully be able to get some crits on making it more recognizable.

Joaquin Phoenix at first sight! :)

    Good choice!

I think you could lower his hairline a bit. Also make his nose a little less broader and the roof of the nostrils more slanting downwards. Thicken his left lower eyelid and sculpt in the shape of his corneas. I think his upper eyelids might have to come down a bit on the sides closest to his cheeks (the lateral side? not sure of those terms yet), which might be easier to notice if you put in the corneas.
I think you could also start working on roughening up his lips a bit and make them a little less sharp. The upper lip needs to be a little narrower as well. Also, notice how in the photo the edge of his upper lip folds a bit into his mouth before it reaches the corners of his mouth.

    Good job, keep it up!

Joaquin Phoenix (mouth scar gave it away)
It is recognizable, but i have a few suggestions.
I hope you don't mind me giving it a go, I started writing and I couldn't express myself...then I remembered I can draw. I won't waste your time explaining, just compare them.

Note the scar should be extruded outwards, over the right philtral ridge. Google "nasal sill" and you can see how you can make the nostrils more realistic.

Or I could have just posted a random photo. Haha I am so slow.
Anyway I just went through your sketchbook thread and I noticed that you are by far more advanced than me... and now I feel awkward.
    Love your sculpts btw.

Looking good. Knew who it was supposed to be at first glance. A few things I noticed. The nose you made is quite a bit larger than it should be. It is mostly thrown off by the size/ width of the nostrils. I think you made his face too thin. His cheekbones are wider and a touch higher up. Your forehead is also too tall which doesn't help the thinness. The eyes also look a bit big. Also the lips are way to sharp. Can't tell from the screen, but the ears might be too big. Keep it up!
