I have an issue where the object disappears on screen using 3ds MAX 2015 (can't use 2012 version). I use the DirectX Shader and 3DS Max is on directX9. Any help is appreciated.
Just curious if anybody figured out a way to crease all hard edges in Maya at once. The shelf script undoz made only works in Maya 2015 and I'm on Maya 2014. If anybody knows of such a script and can link it that would be appreciated :)
Hi, can someone tell me how to change the rendering mode from DX9 to DX11 in 3DS max 2012, it used to be under the choose driver setting in 2011 however all I have there now is the option to revert from DX mode
@pior Thats exactly what i did last time. And it resulted in my grid beeing all weird and my clipping became an issue. Im using 2012 so i dont think it should be any different from 2010.
2015 post necro, wondering why people/bots(probably) do this? He is probably thanking him for the model cause he just "stole it" from the viewer if it is still live, & yes anyone reading that is a thing in any viewer from now till forever..
So you are using the Xoliul shader? What version of Max? If its 2013 or 2014...then that is the problem. Autodesk made some changes to how tangents are handled in the viewport and basically made most dx shaders, including the xoliul shader, completely useless.
