You're missing 'Stiffness' settings. Sorry not at home so can't find it now, but I believe that is correct. Maybe it's 'stiffness yaw'. That's help you control them some from just going crazy and twisty/collapsing/etc... The main thing with overlap is it's harder to bake AO. But you can also paint it in or offset your uv's… -
