Hi there Guys, Does anyone here know of a great web hosting service? Something that costs no more than 10 bucks a month, and has got tools for the basic laying out of texts and pictures. Maybe it one which has a standard portfolio template to follow. This is my first post and I look forward to learning much from the great…
been playing some more and it's mad fun. The only thing bothering me is that all the goblins look so grim....where's that mad grin gone that some of these fellows featured when riding their crazy rocket cars? Kezan is okay though but the worgen starting area is pure love :) Then again I already have alliance character, so…
Hi, the size of objects affects dynamesh. This is why sometimes if you have really small object, even the highest dynamesh resolution of 2048 won't be enough. Or the other side - if you have huge object, a resolution of 64 would result in millions of polys. To be able to control the resulting polycount, check this zbrush…
Yes either chamfer all sides a little bit or add padding on lightmap UV and cover the connecting parts with some sort of detail mesh on top to hide the seam. Also simple color textures cause this issue too (concrete in your case) Dont know if you have looked at older threads here under "lightmap seams" if not then do have…
Rick Stirling's is nice maybe a little on the commie side I like Lucas Hardi's (DocRob) site as well seems like most the web hosts out there have pretty cheap plans. I'm on Bluehost and I pay $6.95 a month, they keep increasing the space so it's never been an issue. Demo reels are for animators number of projects? just put…
here is my day 15 (8 Head). Is me or the base mesh is very close to this head? at least the side ? even so I spent the same time, I got lost in small changes. @Elithenia I hope your problem can solve soon and You get back to work ;) ! ... anyway you can check the document size of the project, just in case...
No wires, no flats, few polygon specifications, no texturesize numbers, not all models can be viewed at a higher resolution. I don't like the fact the menu buttons jumps around from the right-hand side on the main page to the bottom on all you other pages and I'm not very keen on the fact that the white area keeps changing…
Nice to see him progressing! Turning out nice so far, although he's looking a little on the dwarfy side - I think it's a combination of the head being a little too big, and the legs being too short... mainly just the head though. Might wanna try reducing the head size (and neck width, but keep the neck the same height),…
I am dealing with them right now for a client. Run into all sorts of problems and for whatever reason cant get Dreamweaver to connect with their ftp... I also don't like the fact that I have to click 10 times and 3 different windows to get stuff done. Side note my personal site I use 1and1.com and prefer them over godaddy.
Unwrapping a sphere is a bitch to do in any program. It kinda depends on what the geometry looks like, and whether you'd prefer to have less distortion, or less seams. It could also depend on how well you can hide mirroring. For a low-poly (12-sided) basic Sphere primitive, here's how I'd probably do it: There are many…
