Your FOV is set to 133 degrees, which is very wide. A previous version had FOV bound to the mousewheel, but I think we changed this in 2.05 so its ctrl+mousewheel so its harder to accidentally change the FOV. If you're still using 2.04 you should update to 2.05. You should probably spend some time setting up nice lighting.…
This is David Schroeder, author of the 8-bit game "Dino Eggs" (1983, Apple II, Commodore 64, IBM). We're completing a reboot entitled "Dino Eggs: Rebirth." You can check out the information and video in our press kit to get an idea of this old/new game. Seeking: An artist to create the game's two main characters in a fresh…
I was explained to a Chinese friend that the entire Foxcon thing was so blown out of proportion it was not even worth mentioning. He explained this to me with simple math: According to Wikipedia, there are 15 suicides per 100,000 people per year in China (the US is 11)…
I cant help but think that such a question should perhaps discussed with your programmer. He might give the best input on this because usually snow is often dynamic and distributed around the scene through scripting. Maybe look into the feature section http://www.neoaxisgroup.com/neoaxis/features it says that it supports…
I guess you're zooming to an odd multiple? For example 133% instead of 100% or 67% instead of 50%. Any time it's not an even division (50%, 25%, 12.5% etc) it will have to drop odd amounts of pixels which results in artifacts like you see here. This is most noticeable on greyscale gradients since you can essentially end up…
@JordanN You should have posted that scene first to polycount for advice, like does the roof have to have so much polygons? does the ceiliing lights have to be so high poly for not that much silhouette change?. Also, your not a senior environment artist you don't need a high IQ to see that.…
hey dude, thanks for the feedback... I was kind of imagining someone who is very malnourished. Although I do like the original too...this idea popped into my head after i saw the machinist and how Christian Bale looked in the film. For me, it didn't make much sense for me to keep him muscular for the fact he lived 133…
I'm just remaking the Quake and Team Fortress weapons in my way and right handed because I want to! Skins aren't too detailed as either i'm fast or i just suck. Anyhow the budget i'm shooting for is 100-200 triangle with 256x256 texture, including the arm/hand. Format will be both MD3 and MDL, chosen depending on your…
So, WIP', WIP's, WIP's: I have done another asset for my small enviro: it's not a PRO, but I almost like the final look of that. I made this several times because I had some problems with viewport and models. But finally it's done. Maybe I'll do a small correct for the tree canopy. And it's very lot's of tris: 5 138 on one…
