Hello Folks...!!! I want to share with you about a City Stock Dummy I Developed in CryENGINE3 graphics engine. I call this City "Colossus" by the name of the Giant Statue. This place is a post-apocalyptic environment in a Deserted City in a couple of decades due to a number of Catastrophes caused by Globlal Warming. This…
Hey guys, so I have my first entry on hold so I can take a break from it. You can check its status here: Amumu I have decided to start a new one. I chose Galio since from what I saw its a champion that most people dont use. I want to illustrate his Idol of durand ability. Which he will be turning on and blocking some…
Hello Polycounters. I've been working Column with a Tiger statue on it based on this concept from the WoW mist of pandaria cinematic. This is where I'm currently at now. I am modeling individual bricks to place inside to add more height information since the bricks are looking pretty flat. I am also going to grunge it up a…
// tkColorToNorm by throttlekitty// Gets Vertex color and applies it as Vertex Normal.//// Usage: Apply an Object Space normal map to a high poly models' vertex colors via the Paint Vertex Color Tool.// Select vertices and run tkColorToNorm.// **This script temporarily turns of undo functionality to speed it up a little.//…
Is Quadruple A simply a marketing term? https://gamerant.com/ubisoft-ceo-skull-and-bones-70-price-quadruple-a-game/ This game was meant to be a stand alone version of the pirate elements of Assassins creed black flag and seemed to give the impression of very immersive and realistic naval combat (more Master and Commander…
Thanks Leotrard and Jose, you're right, I've done that now and added gauntlets and boots. I messed up the knees though (only noticed it when I started animating the guy). And yes I do check with no shading ... sometimes =) Here is the current status: Since it is the main character, I guess I might give him a final polish…

It's pretty much what I wanted to do, so that works. I had to turn down the Paint brush tool's alpha as per Andreas…
i don't like the green tint at all. other than that it looks very nice. roots don't bother me that much, except that one long root on the building on the right side. it seems to go outside and inside back and forth which doesn't feel convincing. the scene could use some interesting object to let eyes focus on it - like a…
Not nessesary unless you want to also capture any materials that are applied to your high poly. For example you might be working on a statue and you applied a stone texture to your high poly, it can be helpful to capture that materials bump/normal and diffuse coloring, it properly accounts for stretching in the UV layout…
Amen to that, Of the over 50 studios I've applied to, I never even got to the interview stage with one. As for my school, I actually do have a serious issue to discuss with them because recently their status as a "degree mill" has become public knowledge and might have left me in the bracket of applicants who aren't even…
