Yea I'm doing it that long way, and I do have admin privileges, all my other settings save. What is really annoying was that I turned on snaps once, and somehow it saved as default so now snaps are on every time on a .5 grid, which is unusable until it is disabled, and I can't seem to change it back. I would unrotate this strip here (and any other strips) to be perfectly horizontal or vertical, aligned to the pixel grid. It doesn't matter if you make it horizontal or vertical as long as it's following either of these 2D axes. If you leave it rotated like that you'll have to use padding to avoid seams at the diagonal… -

Very clean. The wood grain effect looks nice on the sides but seems to breakdown at the top. The wood grip should be inverted to imply it is being carved into the wood handle surface. Synching up maya and max's scale?
I was very suprised to find that my now both Autodesk owned version of Maya (ver. 8) and Max (ver 9) do not have the same scale. Or am I just completely mad here? I've tried making a 3 ft by 3ft cube in Maya and importing to Max only to find that it is very small. Both are set to feet and have matching grid spacing. Anyone… -
3ds max: DirectX 10 weirdness
After changing to directX 10 in configure driver and reloading max, all objects are rendered with triangular faces even when I turn it off in configure driver and reload. Also the main grid lines that cross 0,0 are missing. Anyone else have this problem? To be honest i've no need to use directX 10 I was just fiddling…
