alt-x would switch the entire scene. no? one thing I've seen done is setting your material to animate. Frame 0 is 100% opacity, and frame 1 is ?% opacity. then you can just slide your frame over one for the transparent, and back for full. I believe you can hot key forward and back one frame... I think... -

cool start. yea, considering that most of this is flat geometry, you should probably make this part out of bsp. also, the stairs, they cant be steeper than a certain amount (i forgot exactly what) or else the player wont be able to go up them, theyll just slide back down. and your stairs right now are way steep. good luck -

I find it very handy to have slide edgeloop and collapse edge there. Also the delete edge/vertex tool so that deleting edges doesn't leave any floating verts. I have a section of "selection" buttons to quickly switch selecting edgeloops, edge rings, border edges etc as well. Loads more but those spring to mind as useful!… -

Swap magic will work fine and is easy to use. All you need to do if you have an old bulky console is remove the front bar on the cd tray. Just get the right slide tool for your console. Also swap magic only works with ps2 games, You'll need to get breaker pro or another tool to play imported psx games. -
